Dr. Z – Tai Chi Master & Lineage Holder

Dr. Ke Zang, also known as Dr. Z, is a lineage holder of Guangfu Wu Family Tai Ji Quan and a sixth-generation inheritor of the Wu Family Tai Ji Quan. As a formal disciple of Grandmaster Zhong Zhen-shan, he has dedicated years to mastering and preserving the art of Tai Ji. Dr. Z is the founder of Summit Tai Ji Academy, where he shares his deep knowledge and expertise with students worldwide. Through his teachings, he emphasizes the balance of health, martial applications, and the philosophical depth of Tai Ji, making this ancient practice accessible and meaningful for modern practitioners.

Dr. Z offers private Tai Chi lessons based on students' schedules. He also teaches a public Tai Chi group class on a regular basis.

 

Group Class

Schedule & Location:

  • Sundays: Morning sessions are held year-round (starting at 8:00 AM in summer / 9:00 AM in winter).

  • Location: Classes are held in the Centennial / Greenwood Village / DTC area. We meet at a designated local park during warm months and an indoor gym during winter.

⚠️ Attendance is by RSVP only. To maintain an optimal class size and ensure a focused environment, we do not accept walk-ins. Exact times and locations are provided directly to participants upon confirmation

Content:

Each class is divided into two 45-minute parts:

  • Part I (45 mins): Focuses on form movements, physical coordination, and breathing with internal energy flow, emphasizing health and wellness.

  • Part II (45 mins): Focuses on the martial arts and self-defense applications rooted in Tai Chi principles.

 

You may choose to attend Part I only or both Part I and Part II. However, Part II is not available as a standalone session unless participants have already built a Tai Chi foundation.

Class Fees:
  • Full Session (Part I & II): $45 per session | $400 for 10 classes

  • Part I ONLY: $25 per session | $225 for 10 classes

How to Join:

Everyone is welcome to observe or try out a class, but pre-registration is required.
